Christmas from Hell

Falling in love is dangerous, especially when the last person that you want to fall in love with is the accident-prone neighbor determined to drive you out of your goddamn mind.

From New York Times bestselling author R.L. Mathewson comes the next installment in the disturbingly funny romantic comedy series, Neighbor from Hell.

Necie Dixon was used to tripping over her own two feet, setting a record for insurance claims for all those unfortunate accidents that she was really hoping would stop happening, but she would never be able to get used to the way that Duncan made her feel…or just how much he hated her.

She wanted more.

She wanted him.

But that was never going to happen, not when the incredibly handsome firefighter next-door only saw her as a little jinx, and no matter what she told herself, one mistake would never be enough to change that.

Something had to give.

Duncan wasn’t sure how much more he could take. Between work and helping his family, he was exhausted and needed a break. He needed something more in his life, and he sure as hell needed a break from the little jinx next door that was driving him out of his mind.

He’d never expected to find himself drawn to her.

Never thought that he wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about her.

And he sure as hell never thought that he would feel like his world was falling apart when he almost lost her.

Reviews for A Christmas from Hell

This was another great story but that doesn’t surprise me. The Bradford’s are at it again but this time it’s the sweet neighbor Necie Dixon who brings all the trouble for poor Duncan Bradford. Necie is super sweet and extremely klutzy especially around Duncan. Necie has had a crush on Duncan from the moment she first saw him but knew he didn’t feel the same because she did nothing but bring him pain, literally! Duncan seems to be in nothing but pain when his neighbor comes anywhere near him and for that he always kept his distance. However trouble keeps finding him and Duncan has trouble staying away until he doesn’t want to anymore.
Their painful, in the literal sense, relationship begins and it’s hilarious and sweet. We get some former Bradford men visiting us in this story and that’s always super funny, especially since Necie is a culinary and baking God!
Grandpa was also a wonderful addition to his story and series, he’s like a kindred spirit of the Bradfords.
Overall I really enjoyed this story, as I have with anything RL Mathewson has created. I definitely recommend it and look forward to more from the author 🙂

This is my favorite book series. Book 7 does not disappoint. Wonderfully written, hilarious love story. Fun, easy read. I wish they would make a movie out of these series.

RL Mathewson has done it again!!!! She written a fabulous book. I couldn’t put it down till I’d finished the entire book. Each story has its own line but weaves together perfectly with all the other stories. I love how Niece has grown up and how it’s made her the woman she is. There is so mu more I want to say but I don’t want to be a spoiler. So I’ll end with this…..RL Mathewson is an amazing writer who combines humor, tragedy, love and life in a way that keeps you reading just know the next part of the story. Every book I’ve read by RL I haven’t put down until I’d finished it!!! I love RL’s books so much that I’ve read all of them at least twice if not 3-4 times. NEVER STOP WRITING, RL Mathewson!!!!!!

A Huge, huge must read!!!! I hadn’t read any of the others, that I can remember, but I love holiday stories, and opposites attracting. In this one, girl from next door comes to town to live with her grandfather, she meets guy next door who she has all these accidents with. I laughed so many times through this book. I loved it. If you want a huge wonderful story that has depth to the characters, squabbles, romance, danger, love of family, and a protective alpha bad boy you have to read this book!!!! Very well worth reading!!!!!!!

The kid in a candy store is overwhelmed by all the goodies – just so, All of R.L.’books!!!
I am like that kid. I don’t know which one to choose, so like the child, I pick everything as a favorite.
I have everyone of this author’s books and have read all of them several times, every series and chronicles, and each one better than the last, but OMG this NFH was my absolute favorite. Instead of a Bradford giving hell, he was on the well-earned, receiving end. Well done, R.L.. Can’t wait for the next book!!!!!

You read it right Goddess, because RL is a goddess of romance comedies. You laugh and sometimes you cry because after all she makes her characters seem like normal everyday people with extraordinary lives. I love them. What a surprise when I was looking for some vampire romance and found Pyte/Sentinel with character name Ephraim and the rest history. Don’t miss the Bradfords if this you first book about them rear the other you won’t regret it. I can tell you that.

I can’t tell you enough how much I enjoy the Neighbor from Hell series. A Christmas from Hell was just as wonderful as all the rest. Necie and Duncan both made me fall in love with their story. My husband thought I lost my marbles at how many times I was laughing out loud. I can’t wait for the next book to come out. They are always one clicked as soon as possible.

R.L. Mathewson is quickly becoming my favorite author. Christmas from hell, like the other neighbor from hell books isn’t about a woman with the perfect body. The Bradford men are all sweet, funny and have huge appetites for food and their girlfriends/wives. I just went through the worst time of my life and these books gave me something to laugh about and to look forward to.
