“Why are you here?” Trevor asked as he laid there on his stomach, biting back a groan as his erection that had been enjoying the way his wife had been running her hands over him finally died while the reason that he hadn’t been able to make love to his wife for the past five days reached over and stole his pillow.

“Why wouldn’t I be here?” Sebastian asked, sounding bored as Trevor laid there, glaring at him.

“We talked about this,” Sebastian said, tossing the miniature peanut butter cup that he just unwrapped into one of the large bowls that she was supposed to be filling before he turned around and-

“Mom told me to do this,” Mikey said firmly as Sebastian picked her up and carried her over to the other side of the kitchen, the fifteen feet which was the minimum distance that the group of traitors had decided that she needed to maintain between her and the task that her mother had specifically asked her to do at all times.

Dear Reader, 

I didn't have time today to write a Chronicle because my son hurt his finger in the middle of the night. Looked fine last night, by early this afternoon, we were racing towards the door. It was a good time. Swelled up pretty badly, dark purple bruising, etc. the works. Thankfully it's just a really nasty sprain. 

I wasn't planning on coming on here tonight because the 12 yo is now bossy, lol, but I saw that another reader was asking about Trace and since he is the main character of Tall, Dark & Furious, I thought it would be a pretty good idea to explain who he is.

“Umm, I’m in here for a reason,” she said, gesturing towards the toilet.

Eyes narrowing, Uncle Trevor and Uncle Eric stepped back as one and closed the bathroom door for her as she glanced back just in time to see Uncle Jason grab hold of Sebastian’s shirt and pulled him out of the bathroom before closing the bathroom door behind him. She stood there for another minute, before she shrugged it off and locked both bathroom doors and used the bathroom. Once she was finished, she washed her hands, grabbed a baseball magazine from the stack that she kept under the sink, a few towels, and climbed into the tub where she settled in for the night.

The Coke Incident…

So, ummmm my Coke addiction finally caught up with me. Late last night, or early this morning however you want to view it, my delicious caffeine infused beverage of choice accidentally tipped over and went everywhere including all over my beautiful keyboard. 

I cleaned up the mess, tipped the keyboard over and after it stopped dripping and I dried it off it seemed to still be working. So, I worked until 8 or 9 this morning, insomnia is my friend, and then finally crashed. When I got up, and is it really important what time I woke up?, I ran out to the store cause we had a craving for gobbler sandwiches (turkey, mayo, stuffing and cranberry sauce) and by the time I got back, got the stuffing in the oven and sat down in front of my computer it was too late.

It's hard to believe that after 7 years, Devastated will be here in two days. It's been one of the most difficult books that I've ever written and also one of the most enjoyable books as well. The book has my usual wit, sweetness, and lightheartedness that my other books have, but it also touches on a subject that many people have to deal with It’s been seven years in the making and has gone through a lot of changes, but finally, it’s here and I’m pretty happy with the way that it turned out and the direction of the series.
