Adults only!!!
“I’m starving,” the naked woman currently draped over him grumbled, reminding him that they hadn’t had a chance to eat last night.
“Me, too,” he said, struggling to find the energy to get up and do something about it.
Nine times, he thought with a smile before frowning.
Or was it ten?
Deciding that it didn’t matter, he reached over and grabbed her cellphone off the nightstand and checked the time. It was after eight o’clock in the morning, he was starving, exhausted, and more than okay with passing out and sleeping away the rest of the day, but the demanding woman on his back was apparently having none of that.
“What time is it?” the woman tangled up in his arms mumbled into his chest.
“No clue,” he said, refusing to open his eyes and find out that this whole thing had been nothing more than a dream.
A refreshing, soul-mending, blissful dream where he got to hold the woman that he wanted more than his next breath in his arms and-
“Oh, hell,” he groaned when she suddenly turned in his arms and pressed her wiggling bottom against him, drawing a surprised hiss from him as his arm tightened around her, praying that she stopped all that wiggling that had him grinding his jaw as she settled in to get more comfortable.
“Are you done yet?” he asked through a clenched jaw as he struggled to ignore just how good she felt in his arms.
“So, where should we start?” Sara asked as they stood there, holding the rusty hammers that she’d managed to find yesterday when she’d rummaged through the garage looking for anything that they could use today.
“The cabinets?” she suggested, because they seemed like the easiest place to start.
“Sounds good,” Sara said, nodding as she pulled her sunglasses on and raised her hammer, clearly ready to commence with the destruction of Kasey’s ugly kitchen only to hesitate. “Maybe we should empty them first?”
“That’s probably a good idea,” Kasey agreed, chewing on her bottom lip as she glanced from the top cabinets filled with dishes and bowls to the kitchen sink.
Since she kept her cleaning supplies in the small “pantry” the small cabinet beneath the sink was empty. Deciding that was the place to start, she gestured towards the sink. “That’s empty.”
Nodding, Sara said, “The sink it is.”
And with that the two of them took up positions in front of the sink, assumed positions of destruction, and with a nod, they both swung. Sara’s swing resulted in the rusty hammer breaking in two upon impact and Kasey’s wild swing-
“Oh, shit!”
Prologue
Clearwater, Florida
Twelve years ago…
“I really think that we should talk about this,” Kelsey said even as she had to berate herself for not putting the thirty-second head start they’d given her to good use and found a better hiding spot than the top of an old metal cabinet.
“There’s nothing to talk about!” Jamie, the normally sweet girl who always let Kelsey sit at her table, snapped a bit angrily as she jumped and made another mad grab for her, which only confirmed Kelsey’s suspicions that she was going to die this very day.
“Death by seniors,” she mumbled miserably with a pathetic sigh as she took in the large group shoving each other out of the way in an attempt to get their hands on her first. If they’d only worked together, she thought with another sigh even as she decided that it was probably for the best if she didn’t point that out.
I'm going to release a sneak peek tonight and publish the Chronicle this week. Tried writing this one, but I spent the weekend being sick with the kids so I am going to call it a night and finish it this week.
Sorry about the delay. I hope this somewhat makes up for it :)
(I am 99% I haven't shared this with you, but if I have let me know and I can find something else)
“Expiration is…,” Kylie mumbled as she searched the Snickers’ bar that she’d found lodged beneath her seat for an expiration date, “…..February 2010.”
Worrying her bottom lip with indecision, Kylie contemplated eating the candy bar that was six years past its expiration and obviously a parting gift from the last person who’d owned this car. She normally wasn’t big on sweets, especially expired ones, but since she hadn’t had a chance to eat anything since lunch yesterday it was now fair game. She was starving and willing to take a chance on what was most likely going to end up being an adventure later when the candy bar finally settled in her stomach. She’d either end up desperately searching the pharmacy later for some antacids or begging a doctor at the emergency room to kill her.
“Let me out!”
“What’s the magic word?” he asked, chuckling as he leaned back in his wheelchair and settled in while the woman who’d been foolish enough to get herself locked in a linen closet continued to try to break the door down.
“Bret,” she snapped, which of course was not the magic word so he had no choice but to ignore her.
“I’m not kidding!” she added a minute later.
“Really?” he asked, looking for something that he could wedge under the door to keep her locked in so that he could take a break, maybe grab a soda and a sandwich, watch a movie or two before fitting in a nap for the afternoon, but unfortunately there was nothing within reach that he could use.

Tell me what the next sentence should be :)
This is between Lucifer and Rebecca
“Mmmhmm,” he groaned, trying to focus when the move caused the tip of his cock to trace her core.
She wrapped her hand around the back of his neck and held on while he continued to tease them both. He kissed his way back to her mouth and kissed her, moaning when she continued to shift against him, rubbing herself against him. It felt so fucking good, but he wanted more.
“What happened?” Melanie, her best friend since the second grade and roommate, asked as Rebecca quietly closed the door behind her.
“He fired me again,” she admitted as she tried to go for casual while she walked through their loft-style apartment and headed towards the bathroom.
“Going to be sick?” Melanie asked around a yawn from where she lounged on the couch with a magazine, a Coke and her reason for living, a double chocolate fudge Pop-Tart.
“No, no of course not,” she lied, barely resisting the urge to place her hand over her stomach, dive for the wastebasket by the kitchen island and finally find some relief from the damn nausea that had been plaguing her since breakfast.
“Really?” Melanie asked, cocking a brow as she continued to thumb through her magazine.
“I'm fine,” Rebecca said, forcing herself to stop a mere twenty feet from her salvation.
